This enhancement will make it easier for the iPad user to search all kind of stuff available on the web in a much user friendly way.

Google is looking forwards to simplify the page layout and it will increase the size of the objects as well, so that users can easily tap on the object.

Along with all this, Google is planning to come up with a search button just below the search box. When you click on the search button you will get the list you want to search e.g - a movie, video, images or anything else.  So you can choose one option that you are looking for.

Gates stepped down as chief executive officer of Microsoft in January 2000. He remained as chairman and created the position of chief software architect. In June 2006, Gates announced that he would be transitioning from full-time work at Microsoft to part-time work, and full-time work at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. He gradually transferred his duties to Ray Ozzie, chief software architect, and Craig Mundie, chief research and strategy officer. Gates' last full-time day at Microsoft was June 27, 2008. In early 2000s, Adam D'Angelo, then a Caltech student who had been Mark Zuckerberg's best friend in high school, had developed the experimental, rudimentary social networking website Buddy Zoo, that was used by hundreds of thousands of people before D'Angelo shut it down. That summer, Zuckerberg and friends who were also computer science students worked coding for the summer in Boston and discussed the implication of D'Angelo's website's success with regard to the future of social networking on the Internet.[1]In the fall, Zuckerberg, returning for his sophomore year at Harvard, wrote CourseMatch, a briefly popular site that helped Harvard students figure out what courses their friends were taking;[1] and then, on October 28, 2003, he wrote Facemash, a site that, according to the Harvard Crimson, represented a Harvard University version of Hot or Not.[2]
That night, Zuckerberg made the following blog entries:[3][4][5]
I'm a little intoxicated, not gonna lie. So what if it's not even 10 pm and it's a Tuesday night? What? The Kirkland [dorm] facebook is open on my desktop and some of these people have pretty horrendous facebook pics. I almost want to put some of these faces next to pictures of farm animals and have people vote on which is more attractive.
—9:48 pm
Yea, it's on. I'm not exactly sure how the farm animals are going to fit into this whole thing (you can't really ever be sure with farm animals...), but I like the idea of comparing two people together.
—11:09 pm
Let the hacking begin.
—12:58 am
According to The Harvard Crimson, Facemash "used photos compiled from the online facebooks of nine Houses, placing two next to each other at a time and asking users to choose the 'hotter' person". To accomplish this, Zuckerberg hacked into the protected areas of Harvard's computer network and copied the houses' private dormitory ID images.
Harvard at that time did not have a student directory with photos, and basic information and the initial site generated 450 visitors and 22,000 photo-views in its first four hours online.[6] That the initial site mirrored people’s physical community—with their real identities—represented the key aspects of what later became Facebook.[7]
"Perhaps Harvard will squelch it for legal reasons without realizing its value as a venture that could possibly be expanded to other schools (maybe even ones with good-looking people...)," Zuckerberg wrote in his personal blog. "But one thing is certain, and it’s that I’m a jerk for making this site. Oh well. Someone had to do it eventually..."[8] The site was quickly forwarded to several campus group list-servers but was shut down a few days later by the Harvard administration. Zuckerberg was charged by the administration with breach of security, violating copyrights, and violating individual privacy, and faced expulsion, but ultimately the charges were dropped.[9]
Zuckerberg expanded on this initial project that semester by creating a social study tool ahead of an art history final by uploading 500Augustan images to a website, with one image per page along with a comment section.[7] He opened the site up to his classmates and people started sharing their notes. "The professor said it had the best grades of any final he’d ever given. This was my first social hack. With Facebook, I wanted to make something that would make Harvard more open," Zuckerberg said in a TechCrunch interview.
On Oct 25, 2010, entrepreneur and banker Rahul Jain auctioned off FaceMash.com to an unknown buyer for $30,201.

Hard Work Makes All Concur: HACKING TRICKS (How to Find the Real IP address of a website)

Hard Work Makes All Concur: HACKING TRICKS (How to Find the Real IP address of a website)

HACKING TRICKS (How to Find the Real IP address of a website)

You can use the PING utility included with Windows to determine the “real” IP address of a web site. Before using this utility, make sure you are not mapping a host name to some IP address with HostName Commander, because if you do, the PING utility will show the address you’ve set up with HostName Commander, instead of the “real” IP address.
To run the PING utility, click on the Windows Start button, and choose Run from the Start Menu. If you use Windows 95,98, or Me, enter “command” (without the quotes) as the command line to run. If you use Windows XP,2000, or NT, enter “cmd” (again, without the quotes). Click OK and the command prompt window should appear on the screen.
Now enter the word “ping” (without the quotes) followed by a space, followed by the host name you want to determine the IP address of, and press Enter:

ping.jpg

In this example, the IP address of the host name http://www.ajaykukreti.blogspot.com is 74.52.201.2 & IP Address of the host name www.kiet.edu is 220.225.19.55 . (Keep in mind that the IP address may change in the future!). If the PING utility reports an error, make sure your computer is connected to the Internet when you are running it.

How To Copy Movie from a Scratched CD

How To Copy Movie from a Scratched CD

This is the most common problem, people encounter. They get a CD/DVD on rent and try to copy the movie. But alas, the CD is scratched, so after sometime, you get a cyclic redundency check error.

Well, things are not as hopeless as it seems. Here are few methods:

--[ONE ]-- Use Nero to create an image of the media. In most of the ways, this happens, so that you can later use Nero Image Drive to mount the CD and then view it.

--[TWO]-- Create a new Briefcase, by right clicking and choosing a new BriefCase, in the folder that you want to copy the file. Then synchronize the briefcase with the MPEG/AVI file of the video. At any instant of time, if you feel that the system hangs up, just close the synchronization. This method will copy the file, to the scratched extent. This method is particularly useful, if the scratch is at the end of the movie.

Google is rebuilding Android Market. its called now Google play

****Google is rebuilding Android Market. its called now Google play*****

Google is rebuilding Android Market.

The Internet giant, looking to create a more comprehensive source for movies, apps, music, and e-books, is folding Google Music and Google eBookstore into one store, now renamed Google Play, according to Jamie Rosenberg, director of digital content for Google. The changes go into effect today.

Google Play marks a radical departure from Android Market, which has been a fixture of the company's mobile platform since the debut of Android more than three years ago. The move is a tacit admission that offering apps, games, and e-books--the main features of Android Market--isn't enough to remain competitive even as rival app stores spring up. Google Play is designed to break down the walls separating the company's disparate offerings, Rosenberg said.

"Google Play will become a single experience for users," Rosenberg said. "This creates a more powerful experience around Android and also increases opportunities for content partners" to interact with more of Google's offerings.

It's a shocking branding shift, considering the resources and energy spent into building the Android name, which will live on as the brand for Google's mobile operating system.

The move is likely to appease critics who have argued that Google's approach to digital content is fragmented. Services that should blend well together often seem out of sync. One example of this is Google Music and YouTube's music videos.

When Google executives were pitching the idea of Google Music to the labels throughout much of 2010 and 2011, they spoke of closely integrating the service with YouTube's music videos, one of the bright spots in online music distribution. Yet the services never were combined.

The formation of Google Play means that music will no longer remain a standalone service, Rosenberg said.

While a phenomenally successful platform with broad adoption, Android Market has struggled to generate the kind of revenue Apple's App Store sees with its apps. Launched in October 2008, Android Market still lags far behind Apple in revenues, according to numerous studies. Last month, Distimo, a company that tracks data on app stores, reported that Apple's iOS App Store generated four times the total revenue of Android Market.

As a result, developers have resorted to changing their business models, relying on mobile ads instead of up-front payments. Others have embraced the "freemium" model, which consists of giving away an app with the hope that the user pays a small fee down the line, either for additional services or extra levels or weapons in a game. Research In Motion, which has a much smaller BlackBerry App World storefront, boasts that its app store is more profitable for its developers than Android Market.

How To Build Fan-Worthy Facebook Page

As Facebook continues to enhance its fan page options, businesses are not only struggling to keep up with the changes, but they also are still trying to figure out how to brand and market their pages. Because of some of the changes, strategies you used just last month to increase your “likes” and interactions with fans may not be as effective.
Here are a few quick branding fixes that will make it easier for prospects to find you, as well as some tips on getting more fans–or what I prefer to call interested prospects.
Brand the URL :- If your fan page URL is still set with a bunch of numbers, you are making it harder for prospects to find you and missing out on a branding opportunity. Facebook recently lifted the requirement that you get 25 “likes” before you can name your fan page URL. Now, all you need to do is go to www.facebook.com/username and set your name in the URL, which is great for branding purposes and easy link referrals. For example, instead of www.facebook.com/1283743grg3232, my link is now www.facebook.com/GingerDomain.
